Habitat for Humanity GTA and the Town of Ajax have identified 521 Rossland Road West for a proposed affordable-homeownership project. The site plan proposes 66 units in a three-storey, stacked back-to-back townhouse community.
Ajax Council authorized $9 million in June 2026 to support the development. The release says the funding includes $7 million for land sale and $2 million for project advancement costs.
The proposal includes 12 one-bedroom units, 14 three-bedroom units and 40 three- or four-bedroom units. All units would be offered as affordable homeownership opportunities.
