Oshawa: Durham College students publish ward-by-ward voter guide ahead of election

Second-year Journalism and Creative Writing students at Durham College's student newspaper, The Chronicle, have published profiles of Oshawa's wards to help voters understand their neighbourhoods and the people running to represent them, ahead of Monday's municipal election.

Students reached out to all candidates for email interviews, noting in the bios where candidates did not respond, and each ward profile covers demographics, housing and income levels as well as local issues, based on conversations with at least two community members.

The profiles are available through The Chronicle's 'Get to Know Your Ward' site, linked from its Oct. 24 article.
