The Region of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Bloor Street, also known as Regional Road 22, in the Municipality of Clarington. Starting September 21, the work is scheduled to continue until October 31, and unfavourable weather conditions may affect the schedule.
The restrictions are on Bloor Street from 100 metres east of Prestonvale Road to 540 metres east of Prestonvale Road, in Clarington. The work is intended to safely repave the street.
Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews. Businesses in the area will remain open during construction; business owners can find construction information through Open for Business, and residents can use the TrafficWatch map for current construction and traffic information.
