Courtice: woman dies after single-vehicle crash on Highway 401 off-ramp

Provincial police say a single-vehicle crash happened at about 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1, on the Highway 401 eastbound off-ramp to Courtice Road in Courtice. The woman driving was taken to hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

Provincial police say a single-vehicle crash happened at about 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 1, on the Highway 401 eastbound off-ramp to Courtice Road in Courtice.

The driver of the vehicle, a woman, was taken to hospital, where she was later pronounced dead, police told CityNews.

No cause for the crash was stated in the CityNews report, and the report did not say whether anyone else was in the vehicle. Ontario Provincial Police were investigating at the scene, according to the report's photo caption.
