The City of Pickering says 28.84 per cent of eligible voters had voted as of 3:15 p.m. on Monday, October 26, in the city's municipal and school board elections, up from 26.74 per cent at 1:25 p.m.

Voting continues until 8 p.m. tonight, online and by paper ballot at designated locations. The city flagged long wait times at two locations, Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex and George Ashe Library and Community Centre, and suggested voters consider one of the other three locations or vote online to avoid the wait.

Pickering voters can vote online with their Voter Information Package and full date of birth, or in person with identification showing their name and qualifying address.
