DRT detours routes 112, 112B in Pickering for Peter Matthews Dr closure

Durham Region Transit says routes 112 and 112B will detour in Pickering starting 6:00 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, due to a construction-related road closure on Peter Matthews Drive. Stop 94418 (Burkholder northbound at Peter Matthews Drive) will not be served until the closure ends.

Durham Region Transit says routes 112 and 112B will detour in Pickering starting 6:00 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, 2026, due to a construction-related road closure on Peter Matthews Drive. The detour remains in effect until further notice.

Route 112 northbound will run via Taunton Road, Burkholder Drive, Hibiscus Drive, Sapphire Drive, Taunton Road and Peter Matthews Drive north of Taunton Road, while Route 112 southbound will run via Peter Matthews Drive, Taunton Road, Sapphire Drive, Hibiscus Drive and Burkholder Drive. Route 112B will run via Burkholder Drive, Hibiscus Drive, Sapphire Drive and Taunton Road.

DRT says stop 94418, Burkholder northbound at Peter Matthews Drive, will not be served during the closure.
