Pickering says storm sewer replacement and road reconstruction are planned on Whitevale Road and North Road as part of the Whitevale Master Drainage Plan implementation project, identified as Q2026-25. The work is scheduled from October through December 2026.
The notice describes work on Whitevale Road from Whitevale Bridge to Golf Club Road, on North Road from Whitevale Road to about 70m north of Churchwin Street, and resurfacing on Whitevale Road between Altona Road and Whitevale Bridge. The municipality says the road will remain open during construction to emergency vehicles, local residents and businesses only.
Access restrictions and temporary traffic disruptions are expected through the construction period. The city says traffic controls and construction signs will be maintained for vehicles and pedestrians. The notice lists Moe Zamaani, P.
