A stretch of Toynevale Road in Pickering will be closed for about two weeks starting Friday, Oct. 30, the City of Pickering says. The closure runs between 309 Toynevale Road and Lytton Court and is scheduled to end Friday, Nov. 13, 2026.

The closure is for site servicing work at 313 Toynevale Road, the city says. Site servicing typically involves installing or connecting underground infrastructure, such as water and sewer lines, to serve a property.

Residents who live or travel in the area are encouraged to plan alternate routes while the closure is in effect, the city says. The city has posted a service announcement with a map of the affected area on its website. Anyone with questions can contact Nicolas Sanint, inspector with Development Services, at 905-420-4660, ext. 2034, or Joe Mitschang, supervisor with Development Services, at 905-420-4660, ext. 2030.
