Dunmoore Dog Park in Pickering remains closed while new lighting is installed. The City of Pickering notice dated September 21 gives a closure period from September 18 to Friday, October 9.
The City says poor weather and site conditions have delayed reopening and that construction work is now expected to resume the week of September 28.
Pickering apologized for the extended closure and says it will reopen the park when the necessary improvements are complete. The notice lists Parks Capital Assets staff as contacts for additional information.
