Pickering has closed the southern portion of the gravel parking lot at Alex Robertson Park for use as a staging area for the Krosno Creek Culvert Replacement Project. The temporary closure began September 24, 2026, and is scheduled to last through October 2027.
The City says equipment and materials needed for the culvert work will be stored in the closed area. The northern portion of the gravel lot will remain open and accessible to park users throughout the project.

Park visitors should use the northern section of the gravel lot while the southern section is occupied by the construction staging area. Pickering says the notice includes a map of the affected area.
