More than 100 animals found loving homes during Oshawa Animal Services' three National Adoption Weeks in 2026, the City of Oshawa says. The adoption events were held in March, July and October in partnership with PetSmart Canada locations, and the final week of the year is now complete.

The City shared the total on Tuesday, Oct. 27, thanking the Animal Services team and the public for helping the animals find homes. Residents can meet available animals through the link in the City's Instagram profile or view the animals' donation wish list there.
