The DSBRT stop update from Durham Region Transit lists changes between Westney Road and Galea Drive. The September 2 notice affects Routes 900, 920 and N1 along the Kingston Road corridor.
Stops #1595, westbound at 132 Kingston Road, and #1597, Kingston westbound at Westney Heights Plaza, are closed until further notice. A temporary stop for #1595 is about 200 metres east near the Harwood Centre traffic signal; for #1597, DRT directs riders to the east side of Westney Road.
The remaining stop adjustments are as follows: #1596 is just west of its permanent Kingston westbound at Chapman location; #1598 and #2236 are on the east and west sides of Westney, respectively; #2238 is on the west side of Ritchie; and #93254 is on the west side of Salem. Stop #2242 at 69 Kingston has a permanent hard surface and a temporary stop sign.
The notice says Stop #92072, eastbound at 257 Kingston Road East, is closed until further notice; Routes 900 and N1 have temporary stops at Kingston eastbound at Salem, on the west side, and at Galea. The service alert lists the stop details.
