KINTON Ramen opens in Oshawa and Olive Garden returns to Ajax

KINTON Ramen held its official grand opening Oct. 24 at 1800 Simcoe St. N. in Oshawa, and Olive Garden has opened at the Durham Centre in Ajax, INsauga reports.

Two of the five new GTA restaurants in an INsauga roundup published Nov. 1 are in Durham Region: KINTON Ramen in Oshawa and Olive Garden in Ajax.

KINTON Ramen opened at 1800 Simcoe St. N. in north Oshawa's University District, near Durham College and Ontario Tech University, INsauga reports. The restaurant first welcomed diners Sept. 8, spent about a month in soft opening, and held its official grand opening Saturday, Oct. 24 — its first Oshawa location.

Olive Garden opened at the Durham Centre in Ajax, the third new restaurant in Ontario since the chain's relaunch, INsauga reports. The chain closed all its Ontario locations in the late 1990s and early 2000s and is returning with its endless breadsticks and never-ending pasta bowl, the report says.
