Clarington asks residents to shape future of community events

The Municipality of Clarington is asking residents to share what matters most to them about events in the community, as it develops a 10-year Special Event Strategy with a five-year Action Plan.

The survey also covers a five-year Operational Event Plan for the new outdoor Clarington Sports and Event Grounds at 801 Maple Grove Road in Bowmanville, including preliminary concepts for a gathering and event space with a covered stage for concerts, performances and community activities.

Feedback will help inform how the Municipality delivers and supports special events, how municipal event spaces are used, and the resources and partnerships needed, the Municipality says. Residents can take part at clarington.net/specialevents.
