The City of Oshawa has outlined service changes for Wednesday, September 30, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The city says the day recognizes Survivors, their families and communities, and the history and legacy of residential schools.
Community activities listed by the city include a Survivors’ Flag raising and artist talk on September 28, Orange Shirt Day on September 30, and visits to Orange Ribbon memorial sites through October 9. The city directs residents to its event information for details.
