The Durham Catholic District School Board is developing a new Multi-Year Strategic Plan to guide its priorities and direction in the years ahead. The board says it is inviting students, families, staff, parishes, statutory and advisory committees, and community partners to help shape the plan.
Feedback can be submitted through the DCDSB Multi-Year Strategic Plan Survey, which will remain open until Friday, October 16, 2026. The board says the responses will help shape a shared vision for the future of Catholic education in Durham Region.
The board says the plan must align with the Ontario Education Act. Its listed objectives include promoting student achievement and well-being; supporting a positive school climate that is inclusive and accepting of pupils; and preventing bullying.
The plan is also intended to support effective stewardship of the board’s resources and delivery of effective, appropriate education programs. DCDSB says it is committed to embedding its faith in every part of the strategic plan. More information about the process is available through the board’s strategic-planning page.
