Oshawa Power has upgraded Watt, its virtual assistant, which is now available 24/7 on the utility's website, Oshawa Power says.
Watt can answer common questions and help with tasks including understanding a bill, setting up or managing a pre-authorized payment plan, reporting a power outage, checking outage status, and finding information about programs and services, Oshawa Power says.
The assistant is designed to give faster, clearer answers without waiting on hold, and it can connect customers to a live representative during business hours if needed, Oshawa Power says. Customers can still reach the utility by phone or in person.
