Durham Region Transit has posted a new schedule for PULSE route 916, one of six routes getting updated timetables effective Monday, Oct. 19, 2026. The new schedule and route map are now available on DRT's website, and riders on the Rossland Road corridor should review the new trip times before the change takes effect.
PULSE 916 serves four Durham municipalities — Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa. It starts at the Pickering Parkway Terminal, runs the Rossland Road corridor east through Ajax and Whitby (via Brock Road, Church Street, Westney Road, Salem Road, Lake Ridge Road and Brock Street), and continues into Oshawa to Harmony Road, with a northern leg up Harmony Road toward Conlin Road and Taunton Road. It is the crosstown complement to the Highway 2 PULSE 900, linking the region's mid-town neighbourhoods across all four cities.
DRT says riders can catch a bus every 20 minutes on weekdays from morning until evening. Overnight service is available on the Blue Night Route N1.
Schedule times are shown in the 24-hour clock, and dashes in the timetable indicate a stop not served by a particular trip. Riders connecting at the Pickering Parkway Terminal or along Rossland Road should check the new departure times under the Oct. 19 schedule.
