The Town of Whitby is accepting nominations for its 21st annual Celebrating Youth Awards. The awards recognize young leaders aged 12 to 18 who have contributed positively to the community.
Whitby says nominees may be recognized for volunteerism, selfless actions, or involvement in school and community organizations. Past recipients have supported groups including The Denise House, Operation EcoPen, Girl Up and the Malala Fund.
Nominations are due by 4 p.m. on October 23 and can be submitted through the youth events page.
Whitby says nominees and award recipients will be recognized at a ceremony on Thursday, November 26, 2026.
