The Township of Uxbridge says it is partnering with Elexicon Energy Inc. to install a new electrical substation at the Parks Yard, 129 Main Street North.
The Township says the installation will be the third substation in Uxbridge and will allow Elexicon to continue providing service to the growing community.
According to the Township, the infrastructure is intended to strengthen the local electricity system, improve power restoration times and add capacity for downtown Uxbridge and future needs.
