Repairs to the clock tower at the Uxbridge Public Library are complete, the library says. The tower caught fire in July after it was struck by lightning, and scaffolding surrounded it for months while the repairs were underway.

The library announced the completion on Facebook on November 4, saying the tower now has a brand-new lightning rod installed and grounded. The library thanked Tru-Care Restoration Inc., Tacoma Engineers, the Uxbridge Fire Department, the Uxbridge Building Department and Heritage Restoration for the work.

No one was hurt in the July fire. The library is at 9 Toronto Street South in Uxbridge.
