Durham Regional Crime Stoppers is offering a $25,000 cash reward for information that helps police make arrests in a Beaverton break-and-enter investigation.
The investigation stems from a residential break-and-enter reported in the area of Thorah Concession Road 4 and Thorah Side Road on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
According to Durham Regional Police Service, the homeowner had left the residence earlier in the day and returned after 5 p.m. to find the front door open. A search of the home found that a gun safe had been stolen.
DRPS previously reported the original break-and-enter under the title Firearms Stolen After Break-and-Enter in Beaverton. The latest update adds the Crime Stoppers reward offer.
Police said the $25,000 reward is available for information that assists investigators and leads to arrests. The reward offer is scheduled to expire on April 28, 2027.
Anonymous tips can be submitted to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers by phone or online. Tipsters may be eligible for the cash reward if their information meets the program requirements.
