Mike Jubb has been elected mayor of the Township of Brock, according to the township's unofficial results for the 2026 municipal and school board election. Peter Frank was elected Regional Councillor, and the ward councillors elected were Claire Doble in Ward 1, Diana Vessel in Ward 2, Mike Samis in Ward 3, Sally Morgan in Ward 4 and Ted Smith in Ward 5.
A total of 4,487 Brock voters cast ballots, a turnout of 40.5 per cent, to elect the mayor, regional councillor, five ward councillors and two public school board trustees for the 2026-2030 term of council, the township reports. Voting took place from October 17 to 26, by online voting, telephone voting and ballot-on-demand at voting assistance centres in Beaverton, Cannington and Sunderland.
For the school boards, Richard Damianopoulos was acclaimed for the Durham Catholic District School Board, Erik Lapointe was acclaimed for Conseil scolaire Viamonde and Marcellin Kwilu Mondo was acclaimed for Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir. The township refers readers to the Township of Scugog's election page for the Durham District School Board trustee results.
The results remain unofficial until certified by the municipal clerk, with the certificate of official results to be posted on the township's website once certified.
