About Heber Down Conservation Area

Heber Down’s trails cross the Lynde Creek valley, passing ponds, wooded wetlands and land shaped by the old Lake Iroquois shoreline. Floating docks provide a closer look at the ponds.

The main Cochrane Street entrance has a maple-leaf-shaped accessible route, the Iroquois Trail, along with accessible washrooms and a fenced dog pen. The south entrance on Lyndebrook Road opens seasonally from May to October.

Before you go

The Lyndebrook Road entrance is seasonal, listed for May through October. Dogs must be leashed on trails, with off-leash use limited to the fenced dog area. Trails are not maintained in winter.
