About Durham Regional Forest

The Main Tract of Durham Regional Forest has more than sixteen kilometres of trails in four marked loops, with additional paths through plantation forest and mixed hardwoods. The forest sits on the Oak Ridges Moraine and connects with the Trans Canada and Oak Ridges Moraine trail networks.

Walkers, mountain bikers, horse riders and skiers share the area. In winter, LSRCA asks visitors to avoid groomed routes when soft conditions leave footprints or tyre tracks; other ungroomed paths remain available.
