Darlington Provincial Park
A provincial park on Lake Ontario near Bowmanville with a sandy beach, day-use areas and nature trails.

About Darlington Provincial Park
Darlington’s beach faces Lake Ontario, while its walking trails lead into meadows, woodland and the marsh around McLaughlin Bay. Burk Trail passes a pioneer cemetery on the way to a lake lookout; Robinson Creek Trail loops through a wooded ravine.
Four day-use areas provide picnic tables, barbecues, water taps and washrooms. Daily vehicle permits can be reserved up to five days ahead. The beach has no lifeguards, and a controlled autumn waterfowl hunt takes place from designated blinds on McLaughlin Bay.
