The Town of Whitby says Voter Notification Cards for the 2026 municipal election are being mailed to eligible electors whose names appear on the Voters' List. Each card shows the elector's ward, school support and qualifying address, plus voting dates and locations.
Residents who do not receive a card, or whose card has incorrect information, should visit whitby.ca/VOTE to check or update their Voters' List information, or contact the Office of the Town Clerk. Online updates are available through the Town's Plan Your Vote tool until 4:30 p.m. on October 23, and voters can also update information in person at a voting location during the voting period, October 22 to 26.
Voting options include a special mail-in ballot for eligible voters unable to vote in person, advance voting October 22 to 25 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at three Whitby locations, and Election Day on Monday, October 26, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 19 voting locations. Eligible voters may vote at any location regardless of ward, and in-person voters must bring one piece of ID showing their name and Whitby address. A total of 47 candidates will appear on Whitby ballots.
