Whitby GO: investigative drilling closes parking spaces Oct 13-20

GO Transit will drill in Whitby GO's southeast parking lot starting Oct. 13, closing about 10 spaces per phase through Oct. 20.

Investigative drilling begins Tuesday, Oct. 13 in the southeast parking lot at Whitby GO station, GO Transit says, closing some parking spaces during the work.

The work will proceed in phases from the north side of the lot toward the south, with approximately 10 parking spaces closed per phase and spaces blocked off ahead of the work. Drilling runs between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and is expected to be complete by Oct. 20.

GO Transit asks customers to follow directional signage and use caution around the construction areas; the schedule may change due to unforeseen circumstances or weather.
