Durham Region is advising Whitby residents of lane restrictions on Consumers Drive and a Highway 401 West off-ramp closure at Brock Street for road rehabilitation and paving work.

Lane restrictions on Consumers Drive from Brock Street to 60 metres east of Sunray Street are in place for daytime curb and sidewalk replacement until October 15, followed by overnight paving work from October 15 to 31, weather permitting. The 401 West off-ramp at Brock Street will be closed while paving is underway on Consumers Drive between Brock Street and the 401 interchange.

Bus routes and bus stops will remain open throughout the work, and drivers should expect delays and plan extra time when using Consumers Drive.
