DRT detours 8 routes as Glenanna Road closes in Pickering Oct 13-26

Glenanna Road in Pickering will be closed between The Esplanade South and Pickering Parkway from Tuesday, October 13 to Monday, October 26, 2026, forcing detours on eight Durham Region Transit routes.

Durham Region Transit says construction will close Glenanna Road in Pickering between The Esplanade South and Pickering Parkway from Tuesday, October 13 through Monday, October 26, 2026, affecting routes 112, 118, 121, 211, 900B, 916, 917 and 920B.

Pulse 900B, Pulse 916 and 920B westbound trips will detour via Valley Farm Road and Pickering Parkway, while routes 112, 121, 118, 211 and 917 will detour via Kingston Road, Valley Farm Road and Pickering Parkway, according to DRT.

Stops 1607 (Kingston westbound at Valley Farm) and 1915 (Glenanna southbound at The Esplanade) will not be served during the closure; a temporary stop will be available on Valley Farm southbound at Kingston, about 100 metres south of Kingston Road, and all other stops along the detour routes will be served.
