More than 700 student athletes from across the Durham Catholic District School Board took to the trails Thursday for the DECA Super 60 Cross Country Championship Meet, the culminating event of the 2026 cross-country season.

The championship at Beverley Morgan Park in Pickering brought together the top runners in Grades 3 to 8, who earned their spots by placing in the top 15 at one of four regional meets.

The board congratulated all participating athletes and this year's champions on their performances, and thanked the coaches, convenors, staff and volunteers who supported the season.
