Socktoberfest returns to Oshawa's Biltmore Theatre Oct 15 with free charity rock show

94.9 The Rock and the All Night Show with Ed the Sock are bringing back Socktoberfest for a third year on Thursday, Oct. 15 at the Biltmore Theatre, 39 King St. E. in Oshawa. The bill features Stuck On Planet Earth, Full Throttle, Blame Thrower and Mindy Sins, according to the theatre's event listing.

Admission is free, but concertgoers are asked to bring new socks or gently used winter clothing for people who are homeless during the cold winter months. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.; the event is 19-plus with general-admission standing room, and capacity is limited so organizers advise arriving early.

All patrons must present valid, government-issued photo ID for entry. More details are on the Biltmore Theatre's ticket page.
