The Oshawa Generals lost 3-2 in overtime to the Ottawa 67's on Saturday night in Ottawa, their second straight overtime defeat after Friday's 5-4 loss in Kingston, according to the team's official recap.

Caden Taylor opened the scoring in the first period, banking a missed shot off the Ottawa goaltender to give Oshawa a 1-0 lead at the intermission. Ottawa's Brock Chitaroni tied it in the second, beating Generals netminder Jaden Cholette.

The teams traded goals in the third: Brennan Huyck buried a rebound to put the Generals ahead 2-1, but Spencer Bowes levelled the score for Ottawa before striking again in the extra frame to end it.

The Generals return to home ice Sunday, October 18, hosting the Kitchener Rangers at 6:05 p.m. at the Tribute Communities Centre.
