The Oshawa Generals' losing skid extended to four games Friday night in Sarnia, Ontario, with a 4-0 loss to the Sting, according to the team's official recap.

Sarnia goaltender Ivan Tkach-Tkachenko stopped all 35 Oshawa shots for his second consecutive shutout against the Generals. Chase Gaughan set up Simon Katolicky for the first-period opener, captain Alessandro Di Iorio scored on the power play early in the second, Matthew Manza added a third, and Logan Hawery capped it with a late power-play goal. Jaden Cholette made his fifth start of the season in the Oshawa net.

The Generals managed just one goal over three games, with an ineffective power play cited as a major factor. Oshawa travelled to Windsor on Saturday night looking to bounce back.
