Ontario Tech University will celebrate its newest graduates at Fall Convocation on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at the Regent Theatre in downtown Oshawa, the university announced.

Convocation marks the graduates' entry into the university's growing alumni community. The university says its newest graduates leave prepared to contribute to technology, communities, health care and other fields.

This year's ceremonies will also honour two honorary degree recipients: Kevin Chan, Senior Director at Meta, recognized for contributions to technology, public policy and civic engagement; and Laura Elliott, a school-board advisor and education-sector leader, recognized for contributions to education, public service and university governance.

Convocation is a ticketed event and all attendees must be registered, the university says. Guests who cannot attend in person can watch the ceremonies online via the university's livestream page, and full ceremony schedules are available on the Ontario Tech Convocation website.
