The Halloween Boo Bash returns to downtown Oshawa on Saturday, October 17, running 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. as a free outdoor event presented by Oshawa Tourism, according to the City of Oshawa. The lineup includes live punk and rock at the Boneyard Stage, a Michael Jackson impersonator performing Beat It and Thriller sets around 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., scare actors from 3 p.m., a Krampus street party, aerial performers, and Scarecrow Lane created by local artists.
A scare-free window from 1 to 3 p.m. is aimed at small children, with pumpkin decorating in Victoria Lane and downtown trick-or-treating. Several downtown streets will be closed on October 17 for the event; details are at oshawaboobash.com.
