Ed the Sock of 94.9 The Rock's All-Night Show is hosting the third annual Socktoberfest at the Biltmore Theatre in Oshawa on Thursday, October 15 — an evening of music and comedy with bands Stuck On Planet Earth, Full Throttle, Blame Thrower and Mindy Sins.
Admission is free with a donation of new socks or underwear, or gently used winter clothing and shoes, collected for people without shelter. The 19-plus show starts at 8 p.m. with doors at 7 p.m., and the Ed the Sock Museum — featuring memorabilia dating back to 1987 — returns this year.
94.9 The Rock is owned by Durham Radio Inc., the parent company of Durham Radio News, which reported the event.
