Durham College welcomed a record number of domestic students this fall, with 10,321 students enrolled full-time across its Oshawa and Whitby campuses, including 5,696 first-year students.
President Dr. Elaine Popp credited the college's career-focused programs, industry-connected faculty and campus community for the milestone, saying graduates carry those skills into workplaces across Durham Region and beyond.
The college says its career-driven programs connect learners with employers and prepare graduates for in-demand jobs close to home.
