Durham College hosted the 2026 Canadian Collegiate Softball Association National Championship over the Thanksgiving weekend at its Oshawa campus, with the Durham Lords finishing fourth.

The Lords opened the tournament with a 2-0 shutout over Laurier and a 3-1 win over Calgary before a 6-2 round-robin loss to Humber. They beat Western 5-2 in the quarterfinal, then fell 3-0 to eventual gold medalist St. Clair in the semifinal and 3-1 to Laurier in the bronze game.

Chelsea Oke was named to the championship all-star team for her standout pitching and a home run in the quarterfinal against Western. Fourteen of the 19 tournament games were decided by three runs or fewer.

The championship capped a busy hosting weekend at Babcock Field and Vaso's Field, the latter temporarily reconfigured for softball. The Lords, the 2024 CCSA champions, head to Windsor later this month for the OCAA championship.
