Durham Regional Police Service will hold a free child car seat clinic on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Fire Station 1, 199 Adelaide Ave. W. in Oshawa.

Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will teach parents and caregivers how to correctly install and use their children's car seats. A properly installed child car seat can significantly reduce the risk of serious injury in a collision, according to the police service.

Space is limited and registration is required; DRPS directs residents to the registration link in its Instagram bio (@drps_official).
