The Durham Region International Film Festival (DRIFF) marks its 10th anniversary October 22–24 with a three-day program spanning Whitby, Ajax and Oshawa, according to a Region of Durham announcement. Opening night is October 22 at the Centennial Building in Whitby with the Sundance winner Hold Onto Me, followed by October 23 at the Ajax Centre for the Arts — including the Ontario premiere of The Snake — and a closing night and awards ceremony October 24 at the Biltmore Theatre in Oshawa with Tribeca recipient Take Me Home.

New this year is the Myth2Market summit on October 23, focused on AI and virtual production. Tickets are $15 for opening night and $20 for days two and three, available at driff.ca, with six Night-Out Giveaway packages offered with limited-time purchases.
