The event is organized in co-operation with local area municipalities and is open to residents across Durham. Items offered for pickup must still be in good condition.
The guidance says unclaimed items should be brought back inside by 7 p.m., while material left at the curb after the event will be subject to by-law enforcement.
Baby items such as car seats and cribs should stay off the curb, and the reminders say not to block traffic or sidewalks, trespass, block driveways or park illegally.
