Clarington is developing a Climate Risk Assessment and Adaptation Plan to identify local climate risks and actions that could help prepare the community for weather-related challenges. Findings are intended to inform planning, infrastructure investments, emergency preparedness and community resilience initiatives.
The Interactive Climate Impacts Map lets residents add locations and experiences, view other submissions and support experiences shared by others. The feedback will help identify local risks, validate project findings and guide adaptation actions.
A workshop on visioning, objectives and actions will run from 1:30 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, in Hall 3 at the Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex. Registration is required and space is limited; the original municipal notice provides the registration email.
