Clarington mayor thanks farmers, food bank volunteers in Thanksgiving message

Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster has issued a Thanksgiving statement on behalf of Clarington Council, saying the holiday invites residents to pause, remember what matters most, and celebrate their blessings with family and friends.

In the statement, Foster said he is grateful to Clarington's farmers for the harvest, and to every food bank donor and volunteer helping those in need, adding that he is grateful to live in a community where neighbours take care of one another.

The brief statement closes with a Thanksgiving greeting from Council, noting there is much to be thankful for this weekend and always.
