Lane restrictions on Westney Road North in Ajax, Oct 14-16

The Region of Durham is advising residents of daytime lane restrictions and temporary lane closures on Westney Road North (Regional Road 31) in Ajax from October 14 to 16 for culvert replacement, ditching improvements and paving. One lane will remain open at all times with traffic-control personnel in place.

The Region of Durham is advising residents of upcoming daytime lane restrictions and temporary lane closures on Westney Road North (Regional Road 31) in the Town of Ajax, running October 14 to 16.

The restrictions apply between 100 metres south of Concession Road 5 and 100 metres north of Greenwood Road. Crews will be replacing a culvert, improving ditching and paving, and temporary lane closures will be needed to lay the final asphalt surface.

The Region says one lane will remain open at all times with traffic-control personnel directing traffic. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews, and unfavourable weather could shift the work schedule.
