The Township of Uxbridge has partnered with Elexicon Energy Inc. to install a new electrical substation at the Township-owned Parks Yard, at 129 Main Street North.
The new substation will be the third in Uxbridge and is intended to support reliable electricity service as the community grows. The Township says the upgraded infrastructure will strengthen the local electricity system, improve power restoration times and add capacity for downtown Uxbridge and future community needs.
